Biological Diversity

Format of csv data files

Imput data should be a comma-separated (csv) file. An example below shows a community data of 5 species and 3 sites. On the first row, the first column is the area name, followed by ths species names. The data on the first row are not used in the calculation. The community data matrix is from the second row. The text on the first column show the name of sites. The numerals on the second and following columns are the number of individuals of each species at each site.

Do not include a Line-Feed code at the end of the csv file. Mac users should change the Line-Feed code to CR+LF or LF.
